Grace Is Not Groveling
Everything in this method will feel, at first, like weakness.
The waiting. The restraint. The refusal to defend or pursue.
It isn’t.
Groveling needs a response.
Grace wants nothing.
The parent who can stand still while everything in them wants to reach is not passive. That is the hardest active thing you will do.
Dignity is not the prize you receive if she returns.
Dignity is what you practice whether she returns or not.
Grace is the posture. Now the becoming.
